The Aksaray University Faculty of Health Sciences, in collaboration with the Emergency and Disaster Management Department and the Fire Department, organized a "Fire Safety and Evacuation Training" program. As part of the program, on February 20, 2025, in the university's central lecture hall, following an opening speech by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Abdullah ÖKSÜZ, emphasizing the importance of fire preparedness and fire drills, Fire Chief İsmail BÜLBÜL, and Research Assistants Furkan ŞAHİN and Kübra AKİL from the Emergency and Disaster Management Department gave presentations. In the afternoon, a "Fire Safety and Evacuation Drill" was conducted with the participation of students and staff from the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Vocational School of Health Services. The drill, conducted with a realistic scenario, generated excitement and interest.
