As part of the "Secondary Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Exercise" organized at Ardahan University with an air attack scenario, Pelin TÜMKAYA, Gamze ATAŞALAN, and Zerda HÜZMELİ, third-year students from the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department of Aksaray University's Faculty of Health Sciences, participated as a medical intervention team alongside students and faculty from 12 different provinces.
This exercise, conducted under highly stressful conditions and in a realistic environment, once again demonstrated the vital importance of acting correctly, quickly, and in an organized manner during disasters.
Such exercises concretely highlight the importance of being prepared to protect public health during crises.
We would like to thank all stakeholders, especially Dr. Ramazan ASLAN, the Disaster and Emergency Coordinator of Ardahan University, for providing this unique experience to our Emergency Aid and Disaster Management students.
Preparation saves lives!
