In collaboration with the Disaster Awareness Community, formed by students of the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences, a conference on "International Disaster Risk Reduction" was held on October 13, 2025, in the Aksaray University Faculty of Health Sciences Conference Hall.
At the event, Fire Chief Mr. İsmail BÜLBÜL, Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Personnel Mr. Osman KORKMAZ, and Head of the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department Prof. Dr. Abbas MOL shared information about the importance of disaster awareness and international efforts to reduce disaster risks. The community also participated in the 5th İğde Festival, informing Aksaray University students about their aims and activities.
